Abstract

The recent changes in the environment made the researchers to ideate new alternatives in all walks of life to reduce the effect of global warming and pollution. Transportation is one of the key factors for the day-day increase in the depletion of ozone layer. The conventional vehicles increase the air pollution by the emission of harmful gases, governments and people are now moving towards electrical mobility which is green and safe alternative. The drastic demand of electric vehicles inspired the researchers to bring new concepts into market which are user friendly and sustainable in nature. This paper deals with the comparison of various motor and battery technologies used by current automobile Electric Vehicle industry. The paper also presents the modelling and simulation of an electric car and recommends the common people to shift from conventional to electric vehicles.
