A better understanding of energy-environment-economy interactions and a genuine appreciation and recognition of the alarming effects of climate change are the essential pre-requisites for any effective energy policymaking in a country. In this context, this book contributes with 13 unique chapters covering three major themes (i) dynamics of energy and economy, (ii) dynamics of energy and environment, and (iii) dynamics of energy policy and climate change. Methodologically, a range of theoretical, mathematical, econometric, empirical, simulation, optimization models and perspectives are used by authors to investigate various issues related to energy-environment,-economy interactions. This chapter presents a systematic pre-view of the content of this book.
