Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to provide the reader with an overview of the imaging of gallbladder neoplasms. To this end, we primarily discuss the relevant epidemiological, pathological, and radiological features related to the imaging of gallbladder polyps, carcinoma, and metastases. Their imaging appearances on ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET) are described.
