Abstract

Nonstick: Dynamically oleophobic surfaces have been produced from low-molecular-weight poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) brush films. Despite the statically oleophilic nature of these nonroughened, nonperfluorinated surfaces, ultralow tilt angles (TAs) that set drops of various nonpolar liquids in motion were achieved.
