Abstract

What is astrology’s undoubtedly complex relationship to theology? Three valuable themes for approaching this question are fate, divination and divine providence. I will explore these and related topics in the works of Albertus Magnus and Thomas Aquinas in this chapter. I will first address the issue of fate in Albertus Magnus.
