Computer aided detection of hepatic nodules in DCE MR images

Abstract

In this paper, we present a method to detect liver nodules based on Fuzzy C-Means algorithm and morphological characteristics. The results demonstrate that the technique can detect the nodules in example cases with high accuracy, and the algorithm has potential for computer aided diagnoses of hepatic nodules in dynamic contrast enhanced MR images.
