Abstract

A library of 120 nanoparticle conjugates is produced by simple one-pot thiol exchange reactions. The antibiotic activity of the conjugates toward Staphylococcus aureus is found to depend upon the combination of thiols assembled on the nanoparticles. © 2011 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
