Introduction

Abstract

This chapter briefly outlines the rationale and scope of the edited volume ‘The politics of the Eurozone crisis in Southern Europe: A comparative reappraisal’. The first section introduces the contents of each chapter. The second section provides a synthetic overview of the negotiated responses to the Eurozone crisis and of the contested issues which emerged during the negotiations.
