Abstract

Such a number instead of its range whose exact value is unknown is referred to as a greynumber. In applications, a grey number in fact stands for an indeterminate number that take its possible value within an interval or a general set of numbers. This grey number is generally written using the symbol ‘‘⨂"‘‘⨂" There are several types of grey numbers.
