Abstract

Mangroves play an important role in the defense of natural disasters from the sea, economic value benefits and protection of biodiversity. This study aims to explain the program of PT. Telkom Indonesia in conducting a corporate social responsibility program in Ambulu Village, Losari District, Cirebon Regency. This study seeks to explain the conflict between companies and communities in mangrove management. This study uses a qualitative perspective with collaborative participatory data collection where researchers are the main key in conducting research. The results showed that differences in the perspective of the implementation of the mengrove program in Ambulu occurred between the company and the Grow Up Institute community as program facilitators and Ambulu mangrove forest farmer groups. Groups and facilitators focus more on mangrove sustainability according to ecosystems and climate-based planting, while companies tend to focus on program reporting limited to annual work months/calendars
