Abstract

ACL revision reconstruction is occurring more frequently as the number of ACL reconstructions increases. This chapter discusses options for single stage revision surgery and the challenges associated with this surgery. Preparation is paramount to successful revision reconstruction, and multiple surgical strategies must be available at the time of surgery. With a detailed history and physical examination, a thorough workup, and multiple backup options available, a successful revision surgery can be accomplished.
