Abstract

The programmable logic controller (PLC) is the most used control equipment in the industry, this due to its versatility of configuration and programming, not to mention the high resistance of this equipment to industrial environments. In the industry, various processes can be presented, some more complex than others, that require a control system, therefore, in this article, a diffuse controller was designed and implemented for the frequency control of a three-phase motor in a Siemens S7-1200 PLC. Through an incremental methodology, the fuzzy controller was implemented, where initially, it was designed in Matlab and later a function block was developed based on SCL code, the fuzzy controller for frequency control of a motor in the Siemens S7- PLC. 1200. In this way, contributing to the development of intelligent algorithms applicable in today's industry, capable of having precise control based on various input and output variables, including the processing of information with a certain degree of uncertainty. In addition, the cost reduction for obtaining a Toolbox package to configure a fuzzy Siemens controller.
