Abstract

Persaingan antara lembaga pendidikan pada semua jalur dan jenjang semakin, dan menjadi kemestian agar semua lembaga pendidikan makin sadar kompetisi. Dengan demikian, perlombaan meraih keunggulan akan menjadi tradisi lembaga pendidikan. Upaya-upaya ini memerlukan edukasi tersendiri, mengingat berbagai fakta menunjukkan bahwa praktik manajemen strategik pada lembaga pendidikan masih sangat rendah. Secara kasat mata sangat mudah disaksikan bahwa sekolah-sekolah telah menyajikan visi, misi, tujuan hingga program. Akan tetapi, secara substantif belum dilaksanakan secara konsisten. Pengamalan manajemen strategik menjadi menarik di tingkat persekolahan anak usia dini, yang sejatinya didesain sedemikian rupa untuk penyiapan peserta didik memasuki masa sekolah. Untuk wilayah pinggiran kota Kendari, RA Asy-Syafi'iyah cukup menarik untuk menjadi kajian, disebabkan perkembangan yang sangat pesat dibandingkan dengan lembaga pada level yang sama yang ada di Baruga. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, kajian ini menemukan jejak-jejak praktik manajemen strategik di RA Asy-Syafi'iyah sebagai berikut: Pertama, kepemimpinan strategik yang ditunjukkan oleh pimpinan Yayasan Asy-Syafi'iyah yang dtunjukkan dengan respon atas kondisi di lingkungan pasar Baruga yang membutuhkan lembaga pendidikan yang layak. Kedua, sehingga perumusan visi, misi, dan tujuan lembaga ini menunjukkan keseriusan untuk berkiprah, tidak hanya sekedar hadir. Ketiga, interkoneksi antar komponen dan kegiatan belum nampak secara jelas. Meskipun demikian, sangat potensial jika mendapatkan edukasi yang tepat dalam manajemen strategik. Kata Kunci: Raudhatul Athfal, Manajemen Strategik, Visi, MisiAbstract            Competition between educational institutions in all lanes and levels is increasingly becoming a necessity so that all educational institutions are increasingly aware of competition. Thus, the race for excellence will become a tradition of educational institutions. These efforts require separate education, given the various facts show that strategic management practices at educational institutions are still very low. In plain view, it is very easy to see that schools have presented their vision, mission, goals and programs. However, substantively it has not been implemented consistently. The implementation of strategic management becomes attractive at the level of early childhood education, which is actually designed in such a way as to prepare students to enter school. For the suburbs of Kendari, RA Asy-Syafi'iyah is quite interesting to study, due to very rapid development compared to institutions at the same level in Baruga. Through a qualitative approach, this study found traces of strategic management practices in RA Ash-Syafi'iyah as follows: First, the strategic leadership shown by the leadership of the Asy-Syafi'iyah Foundation was demonstrated by a response to conditions in the Baruga market environment that needed institutions decent education. Second, so that the formulation of the vision, mission, and objectives of this institution shows the seriousness of acting, not just being present. Third, the interconnection between components and activities has not been clearly seen. However, it is very potential to get the right education in strategic management.
