O protagonismo das mulheres negras no Conselho Estadual da Condição Feminina de São Paulo (1983-1988)

Abstract

Resumo Durante o período de transição democrática nos anos 1980, no Brasil, as mulheres negras participaram ativamente do processo de reestruturação das instâncias governamentais e de reorganização dos movimentos sociais. Este trabalho visa assim, analisar as contribuições das mulheres negras no Conselho Estadual da Condição Feminina de São Paulo. Objetivamos também discutir as divergências e redes de solidariedade entre os diferentes grupos de mulheres que constituíram esse órgão governamental na década de 1980.Abstract During Brazil's democratic transition in the 1980s black women actively participated in the restructuring of government institutions and reorganizing of social movements. This paper analyzes the contributions of black women on the São Paulo State Council on the Condition of Women. We also discuss networks of solidarity among the various women's groups, and differences between them, that participated in this governmental institution in the 1980s.
