Abstract

Music influences the growth of plants and can either promote or restrict the gowth of plants (depending on the type of music being played). The present experiment is aimed to study the effect of music on 30 Rose (Rose chinensis) plants takken in separate pots. The plants were divided into five groups and each group was subjected to one of the following type of music, Indian Classiscal music, Vedic chants, Western Classical music, and Rock music while one goup was kept in silence as the control group......
