Abstract

This chapter presents the concepts of our Model Execution Platform (MEP). The MEP is an approach to executable UML for the design of hardware and software systems covering Class, State Machine, and Activity Diagrams. We present how the MEP is employed for Handel-C code generation and briefly sketch the concepts of a MEP based UML virtual machine. © 2005 Springer.
