The aim of this study is to understand how Turkish businesses operating in diverse industries have been affected from Covid-19 outbreak, their responses to the present conditions, and their predictions for the upcoming period. For this purpose, 84 news articles that were obtained from two electronic sources covering a period of five months were subjected to quantitative analysis. The findings indicate that although there are common experiences, effects of the crisis have been experienced differently at the industry level. The data also point to a significant diversity in business' responses to crisis conditions, the measures taken, and expectations for the future. While the challenges brought by the pandemic manifest themselves in almost all business activities and processes, radical changes towards innovative solutions and digitalization are noticeable in particular industries particular industries such as logistics, sales-marketing, healthcare and education.
