Abstract

Ascaris lumbricoides infestation can cause a variety of intestinal complications, but severe gastrointestinal bleeding is rare. A thorough evaluation is needed for travelers and migrants with massive gastrointestinal bleeding, especially in those patients who have undergone multiple upper and lower endoscopies with no certain cause. We present a challenging case of massive small bowel bleeding due to Ascaris infection.; Competing Interests: The authors have declared that no competing interests exist.
