Abstract

Mobile learning, through the use of wireless mobile technology lets learners and educators to access necessary information from anywhere and at anytime. Despite that the most researches of mobile learning are still in the beginning phase, the using of portable, wireless and handheld devices are gradually increasing in every sector of education. Mobile learning has growing evidence and significance in higher education. There is the big size of international dedicated conferences, seminars and workshops. Nowadays we can see the rising numbers of universities that use special mobile service systems, develop mobile version of own sites and create education applications for all type of mobile devices. Nevertheless this type of learning needs in special research for identification the pedagogical conditions of using M-learning in higher education. The leading idea of our research is the mobile learning in the modern university will improve the organization of education process through the detection necessary pedagogical conditions. The progressive popularity of mobile learning will give new quality for education process in higher schools. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
