Argues that C. J. Linder's (see record [rid]1993-43210-001[/rid]) characterization of science is incomplete and that meaningful learning is best depicted as a form of conceptual change rather than of conceptual refinement. Linder quotes Einstein out of context, and the quotation should be understood not as support for conceptual dispersion but for conceptual unity.
