Abstract

Red fruit is high in vitamin E, which can boost sperm production, especially in men who have low sperm production. Red fruit's combination of high levels of vitamin E and energy (360 calories) can act as an aphrodisiac. [A1] This research aims to find the best syrup preparation formula that meets the characteristics of red fruit nanoemulsion (which Pandanus considers), which can be used as an enhancer of libido or aphrodisiac. In this research, a red fruit nanoemulsion formulation will be made to produce good physical and chemical characteristics. Optimization of sunflower oil: Cremophor: Propylene glycol (1:8:1) with the addition of each red fruit oil is 10 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg, 500 mg, 1 gram, 2 grams, and 3 grams. [A2] To facilitate the use of red fruit nanoemulsion oil, syrup preparations with the following formulas are available: F0, F1, F2, and F3. The preparation of red fruit nanoemulsions yielded globule sizes of 19-35 nm (with globule size distribution curves), polydispersity index values less than one, and zeta potential greater than-20 mV. The best syrup formula is at pH 3, because the syrup produced is the closest to the required pH parameter range, at pH 6.
