Follicular thyroid cancer (FTC) in children is a disease that has received little specific scrutiny regarding surgical or medical management. More often, it has been grouped with papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) in articles addressing pediatric differentiated thyroid cancer and has been treated with the same regimens as for pediatric PTC. © 2006 Humana Press Inc.
