Abstract

The patient was placed in the supine position, the left/right upper extremity was placed on an arm board. All bony prominences were padded. A pneumatic tourniquet was applied over soft roll around the left/right upper extremity. Regional anesthesia was initiated without complication. Time out was performed. The surgical site was prepped and draped in the usual sterile manner. The limb was exsanguinated with an Emarch and the tourniquet was inflated.
