Abstract

In the nineties of the twentieth century, radiofrequency medical instruments were developed and used in abdominal and hepatic surgery. The author of many radiofrequency operating instruments and surgical techniques for use in hepatic surgery is Professor Nagy Habib, according to which these tools and methods are named. These techniques are followed by the solution of a newly designed tool that eliminates the length of hepatic resection. The influence of radiofrequency instrument use on selected tissues and surgical procedures is investigated. The instrument RONLINE is designed for surface and subsurface application with effective electrode storage. This instrument is tested in ex vivo studies, in vivo animal tests, and subsequent clinical trial before introducing into common practice.
