Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows:The aim of this Review is to assess the beneficial and harmful effects of albumin, synthetic colloids, or intravenous infusion of ascitic fluid in combination with paracentesis for the treatment of ascites in cirrhotic patients.
