Abstract

The demand for refractive surgery has escalated over the past decade, and surgical options have been developed for various refractive errors. Although secondary glaucoma is uncommon after refractive surgery, there are concerns related to patients who are glaucoma suspects or who have been diagnosed with glaucoma. This review will address preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative considerations that clinicians need to be aware of in refractive surgery patients. © 2010 Springer-Verlag New York.
