Abstract

In this issue of Molecular Cell, Choksi et al. (2011) report the identification of an NF-κB-independent ATIA (anti-TNFα-induced apoptosis)-Thioredoxin 2 axis that inhibits TNFα- and hypoxia-induced apoptosis through elimination of excessive reactive oxygen species directly. © 2011 Elsevier Inc.
