We have investigated the mechanical properties of a Ti-5Al-2.5Sn ELI at cryogenic temperatures and published those properties in the series of NIMS datasheets. The fatigue properties of the titanium alloy obtained from the tests turned out to be lower in values than those of the materials discussed in the previous reports. The difference of fatigue properties is considered to be caused by the large microstructure of those materials. The authors will continue the evaluation of properties of the structural materials used for space under practical environments and the publication of the datasheets on those materials with discussion of the properties to improve reliability and benefit better design.
