This research proposes understanding "changeability" as a living flow from a current state to a future state; a manufacturing consortium, as a leveraged learning network, is established as an enabler and driver. The twenty-year success of the HPM (High Performance Manufacturing) consortium in Ontario, Canada is investigated as living proof-it supports manufacturing companies in changeability flow that leads to competitive advantages, enhanced productivity, and purposeful growth. The HPM consortium is dissected with respect to its purpose, history, structure, communication, technical foci, and governance. A value analysis of the consortium, engaging a socio-technical context, is also presented and discussed.
