Abstract

A good model must represent the reality in a precise way. This chapter provides an overview on the precision checking. In particular it concentrates on its importance as a conformance checking dimension, and it presents the requirements necessary for a precision metric. Chapter 5 will then present a solution to the problem that is validated and extended in the remaining chapters of Part II.
