Pb, Zn, Cu e Ba do distrito do Perau - modelo sedimentar para sulfetos do vale do Ribeira.

Abstract

A level of Pb, Zn, Cu and Ba of sedimentary origin associated with intraformational breccias and metaconglomerates occurs within a metasedimentary rock sequence represented by micaschists, calcoschists, limestones and quartzites. A second Cu-mineralized level is situated at a lower level, at the transition from clastic to chemical sedimentary facies. Stratigraphic, geochemical, lithologic and palaeogeographic 'metalotectes' represent the most useful tool for prospection of sedimentary syngenetic deposits in the area.- from English summary
