Abstract

The first modelling studies on the craniospinal volume compensation were focused on finding the best approximation of the cerebrospinal pressure-volume relationship. An expanded model, explaining the process of the formation, storage and outflow of cerebrospinal fluid [1, 4] was accepted by clinicians as a powerful tool in the examination of hydrocephalic patients.
