La violencia de género en las redes sociales

Abstract

This paper presents a general outline of how the gender violence in social networks. First, it raises the difference between the terms gender violence, sexuality and sex; in a second moment a history of this event. Later they are presented some figures on violent events in Mexico committed against women and types of violence provoked in cyberspaces. Then some cases are raised in which the violence of gender is manifested, in publications made on networks Social like Facebook. At the end it is pointed out that in this and other media this phenomenon is constantly experienced and reproduced, so a call to reflection and awareness on the theme is necessary.
