Interactions between humans and ecosystems can have socio-economic and ecological consequences. This chapter aims to develop a new modeling approach for the complex system analysis by considering an example of the Himalayan landscape. It provides framework to integrate natural resource management model using the existing data sets, and tests the efficiency of some known natural resource management models for their applicability in mountain regions.
