Sejarah Artikel: Diterima : 2020 Diperbaiki : 2020 Disetujui : 2020 The government's plan to move the capital city from Jakarta to East Kalimantan region and changing the sales system had made PT XYZ initiate to open a new branch office in the Kariangau Industrial Estate, Balikpapan City. The purpose of this research is to know whether the opening of the new branch is feasible or not. This business plan is assessed from non-financial and financial aspects. The calculation results obtained NPV value negative, Net B/C < 1, IRR value of 9,77 percent (< interest rate (12 percent). From Payback Period analysis, we can conclude that the investment return in 20,3 years. To conclude, the plan to develop a new office is not feasible to continue. Switching value analysis shows that investment in establishing a new branch office can be declared feasible if sales experience a minimum increase of 14 percent. The company can conduct a market test first at the nearest branch office.
