Abstract

The Marine Biological Association possesses long time-series of data on the biota and environment of the western English Channel. These series are of value in tracing the influence of climate change on marine communities and show the importance of continuity and length for detection of cycles and prediction of future changes. © 1995 Biologische Anstalt Helgiland.
