Abstract

The heterogeneous integration of InP into a silicon photonics platform enables the inclusion of all photonic elements in a cost-effective manufacturing process that fundamentally changes how photonic transceivers can be packaged and integrated into systems. This approach not only allows for best-in-class optical transceiver performance but also at the unprecedented volumes and cost points that are being demanded by modern hyperscale datacenters.
