Abstract

Margot Filipenko, TELL/PBL Cohort Program Coordinator; Jo-Anne Naslund, Academic Librarian; and Lori Prodan, Tutor and Resource Specialist in the TELL/PBL cohort, conclude by reflecting on the challenges and resistance to problem based learning that continue to exist and persist. The authors chose to consider these challenges as problematized in a case called "continuing challenges." The "case issues" are designed to engage TELL/PBL stakeholders in a dialogue as well as to provoke critical reflection about key elements of our "lived experiences" or problem based learning that we have shared within this book. This case is intended as a starting point for critical dialogue about problem based learning and may be of relevance to our readers as they connect to issues within the case that may be applicable to their own institutions, programs, students, and communities.
