Abstract

In this issue of Blood, Cranmer and colleagues demonstrate that the linkage between the cytoskeletal protein filamin A and the platelet receptor glycoprotein (GP) Ibα provides structural integrity to the plasmamembrane during platelet adhesion to von Willebrand factor (VWF) under high shear.
