Abstract

This publication is the result of a symposium held in Raleigh, North Carolina, September 1986. The 18 separately abstracted papers are arranged into the following categories: techniques and experimental studies; organogenic dolomites; dolomites in Mississippi Valley-type ore deposits; rock-water interactions during dolomitization; geochemistry of dolomite textures and fabrics; dolomite diagenesis; and case histories of dolomite origins.
