Abstract

The retrospective is a common practice for continuous improvement when using Scrum. However, in many projects, retrospectives are performed in a mechanical way, with no real understanding of the goal, phases and real value of this ceremony. Some aspects about how to prepare this type of meetings should be considered by the team. This paper shows how the different phases to celebrate effective retrospectives should be deployed, using as example the retrospective celebrated at the end of the workshop “Experiences with Agile and Lean” in the EuroAsiaSPI2 2017 conference.
