Abstract

Complexes of MoF 5 or MoF 6 − with BF 3 , AsF 5 , TaF 5 , and NbF 5 have been prepared and partially characterized by infrared and fluorine resonance spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. MoF 6 was not found to form complexes with binary fluorides nor fluoroanions.
