Abstract

The article focuses on the use of podcasts in classroom activities. Podcasting projects help students develop oral fluency, write with an audience in mind, develop a writer's voice and increase confidence. Equipment needed for podcasting include a combination microphone or headphone and the Audacity recording software. The software can be used by foreign language teachers to record a series of questions for students to answer and leave a pause for responses after each question.
