Abstract

This comprehensive treatment of the physics of small-amplitude waves in hot magnetized plasmas provides an update of the authors ``Theory of Plasma Waves''. New topics covered include quasi-linear theory, inhomogenous plasmas, collisions, absolute and convective instability, and mode conversion.
