Macroscopically, hepatoblastomas are grayish or brownish nodules (up to 1.5cm in diameter) often associated with hemorrhagic cysts, vascular lakes, or areas of necrosis. Hepatoblastoma may have the appearance of a large hemorrhagic cyst with a thick, grayish or whitish wall. It is usually associated with hepatocellular tumors. No site specificity within liver lobes has been noted.
