Abstract

Uterine arteriovenous malformation (AVM) is a rare entity in gyne-cology, with fewer than 100 cases reported in the literature. AVM is an abnormal arteriovenous connection lacking an intervening capillary network on histopathological examination. We report an unusual case of acquired AVM after dilatation and curettage of cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy managed with uterine artery embolization and concurrent methotrexate administration for persistently elevated beta-human chorionic gonadotropin levels.
