Abstract

For a number of reasons, countries throughout the world are now considering the development of new nuclear power programs. Whether it is to meet increased power requirements, lack of indigenous resources or environmental concerns, these countries are looking at nuclear power as a solution to their increasing energy needs. Such an undertaking will require a concerted effort by national industrial firms and several branches of government. © 2010 Springer Science+Business Media B.V.
