Rotator cuff disorders: Arthroscopic repair

Abstract

Rotator cuff disorders have been common as longevity and activity has increased. Most patients with rotator cuff disease will be asymptomatic at times. Understanding the natural history and basic science studies have given us information to improve our understanding of this important condition. This chapter provides a review of rotator cuff disorders, their anatomy, basic science, nonoperative and operative arthroscopic repair techniques and complications.
