Abstract
The intramolecular arene–olefin photoannulation reaction of diastereopure substrates 11 and 16 gave diastereopure 13 and 18 whose structures were determined by spectroscopic methods and confirmed by X-ray crystallography. © 2006 The Royal Society of Chemistry and Owner Societies.
