Abstract

The purpose of this book is to provide a manual for the practice of behavior therapy in the psychiatric setting. Particular emphasis has been placed on the special demands imposed by the difficult cases that present to the psychiatric clinic or the teaching hospital, rather than to university-based clinics, where most behavioral strategies were developed and validated. . . . This book is intended for psychiatrists, as well as psychologists and social workers. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2018 APA, all rights reserved)
